Users are informed that when they visit the site, a cookie may be automatically installed on their browser. A cookie is an element that does not allow the user to be identified, but is used to record information relating to the user's browsing on the website. You can set your browser to notify you of the presence of cookies, and refuse them if you wish, by following the procedure described at the following address: www.cnil.fr

What is a cookie?

The term "cookie" is a generic term that designates both a text file deposited in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your terminal (computer, tablet, cell phone or any other device optimized for the Internet), when you consult online content or advertising, and similar technologies that make it possible to read or write information on a user's terminal and, in combination with the use of cookies, track their activity on the Internet or in an application. Some cookies are essential for use of the Site or Application, while others are used to optimize and personalize the content displayed.

The Cookie file contains certain information, such as a unique identifier, the name of the Site or Application, as well as numbers and characters. This Cookie file can only be read by its sender. During its period of validity, it enables its issuer to recognize the terminal concerned each time this terminal accesses digital content containing Cookies from the same issuer, and to remember information such as user preferences and information previously entered by the user in forms present on the Site or in the Application. Some cookies may also be used to recognize a user when he or she returns to a site or application, others to record a site's language settings, and still others to carry out targeted advertising.

A cookie does not directly identify a user (it does not contain first or last names), but rather the terminal browser or the application (usually mobile) used. It does, however, make it possible to track the actions of the same user by means of the unique identifier contained in the Cookie file. The term "cookie" is also used generically to designate other similar technologies, such as web beacons or invisible pixels, which are small digital images invisible to the user that are integrated into web pages or e-mails, and which, combined with the deposit of cookies, make it possible to track and analyze the browsing habits of the same user.

What types of cookies are used on our websites?

The cookies inserted via our sites are cookies from third parties such as Google, Facebook, Twitter or others, whose purpose is to offer you content-sharing tools, anonymous statistical tracking or geolocated and/or retargeted advertising.
